MOST OF THE U17 SQUAD HAVE BEEN TOGETHER NOW FOR 5 YEARS OR MORE. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY LOYAL TO THE CLUB AND EACH OTHER. THEY ARE MADE UP MOSTLY BY LADS FROM BENFIELD AND HEATON MANOR SCHOOL BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THEY ARE ALL LOCAL LADS AND GOOD FRIENDS. THIS HAS ALMOST CERTAINLY BONDED THEM TOGETHER ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD AND THEY HAVE ACHIEVED SOME GREAT THINGS IN THE LAST COUPLE OF SEASONS BY BEING "MATES". THEY ARE NOW YOUNG MEN THAT THE CLUB AND PARENTS CAN BE VERY PROUD OF. THIS IS WHY CLUBS LIKE HEATON HAWKS ARE ESSENTIAL IN HELPING LOCAL CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY.
In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
