A dissapointing defeat to top of the table Prudhoe. A freezing day and a very muddy pitch did not suit our footballing style. Hawks never got to grip with Prudhoe's attacking pace and combined with individual errors resulted in Prudhoe leading 4-0 at half time.
Second half was much better with Hawks having many chances however they could not finish and the game ended a dissapointing 5-1. The players could not be critised as they gave 100% in difficult conditions and things just didn't go our way - thats football !
