Away day blues strike again!!!!
After last weeks unlucky defeat the lads hit the road again looking to bounce back against a strong crammy side.
The game started much the same as our two previous league encounters with the lads playing some good flowing attacking football and having the better of the early exchanges, And all the early pressure paid off with Law/Ludlow/Law/Ludlow/Law scoring the goal of the season so far with a outstanding volley from the edge of the area. the ball fell to him following a cleared cross and he watched it all the way on to his foot and let fly a stunning strike into the bottom corner of the net 1-0
After that it was our hosts in the ascendancy creating chance after chance and piling on the pressure throughout the remainder of the first half, And they got there reward 5 Min's from the break hitting two goals in two Min's to go in 2-1 up at half time
The second half saw the lads on the attack from the start again and after 5 Min's they managed to pull level when Law found himself alone 8 yards out and calmly place a low shot past the advancing keeper to take his tally for the hawks and the day to two.
But as in the first half our hosts came back strong and really took the game to the lads
it really was backs to the wall defending from the lads but half-way through the half there pressure told and they went 3-2 up. and then quickly 4-2 up and effectively kill the game off
To sum up the lads gave there all played some good football but were beaten by a better side on the day UNLUCKY LADS!!!!!!
