magnificent brilliant super great fantastic.we went 1 down but we dug in and got our self level only for whitley bay to go back in front.we never once gave up and in final kick of yhe ball lowery fires one into the bottom corner to level the game after adair saves a pen. so we go into extra time, with both sides having chances but unable to convert, then the dreaded penalty shoot out comes.wilkinson steps up first (checking he has enough gel on his hair) and put over the bar,his team mates were quick to console him,up steps martin and slots home,up steps freeland and slots home by the way richie/ian were debating to let these two to take pens (what do we know ha ha)wakenshaw steps up and slots home reeves steps up and slots home, so whitley have their last pen and its up to the cat adair to keep us in the tie, and he did not disappoint making his second penalty save of the game, now its sudden death davy steps up cool as you like and slots into the next round we go.lads we would like to applaud you today for your togetherness, spirit, determination, work rate, your commitment you never gave up you wanted to work as a team play as a team and try to win as a team which we did we are very proud of you all today every single one of our squad,it has not been easy the last couple of games but today is to be enjoyed its pleaseing to see you all go home with a smile on your face and so you should welllllllll done be proud of your performance and tryto build on our display.a massive thank you to all parents we know its not been easy for you either but having seen the joy on your faces makes all of us feel good once again thanks for your continued support you keep showing us. stay fit and health until we meet up again lads.
